Vietnam mon amour. Barbara Pellizzari

The solo exhibition of the artist Barbara Pellizzari presents a rich selection of works made of lacquer, many of them never seen before, created between 2015 and 2020. The strong influence of different countries and cultures linked to the artist’s cosmopolitan experience emerges from the works on display, and, in particular, her stay in Vietnam where she learned and perfected the technique of lacquering, a complex and delicate process that enhances the tactile dimension of the work.
Characterized by bright colours and pervaded by a widespread sensation of harmony, Pellizzari’s works also highlight a deep bond with nature.
