The Last Supper Recall

The exhibition, presented by the famous art historian Flavio Caroli, curated by Leo Guerra and Cristina Quadrio Curzio, focuses on the theme of the Ultima Cena and in particular highlights the figure of Andy Warhol. On display his work “The Last Supper”, rarely visible to the public, and a series of films made by the Star of Pop Art in the Sixties from MOMA.
The exhibition also includes large format works by Daniel Spoerri, Bruno Bordoli, Filippo Avalle and Elia Festa and a large documentary corpus from over thirty years of Creval exhibitions, with interesting, important and curious documents; among them the photographs of Maria Mulas taken in 1987 during the installation and the opening of the site-specific exhibition “Andy Warhol” with which Credito Valtellinese opened the Gallery calling as artistic director Alexandre Iolas.
