SUART 2026, held at Palazzo Reale in Milan, consists of an international conference on the sustainability of art and the exhibition “Materie viventi” by sculptor Maria Cristina Carlini. The forum, under the artistic curation and scientific direction of art critic Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico, is organized by Associazione Ethicando and Fondazione Maria Cristina Carlini ETS in collaboration with the Municipality of Milan, Palazzo Reale, and several partner universities.
The theoretical reflection is also embodied through the exhibition project, which serves as an applied case study of sustainable art. With SUART 2026, Milan becomes a venue for structured dialogue among culture, institutions, and the economy, recognizing art as a central force in shaping sustainable development models and contemporary cultural policies.
