Sericollages (and surroundings) by Marco Lodola

On 24 September the Deodato Arte Gallery launches the exhibition “Sericollages (e dintorni) di Marco Lodola/Sericollages (and surroundings) by Marco Lodola” and presents for the first time a never seen before group of sericollages – multiples strictly assembled by hand and signed by the artist – next to the famous luminous wall sculptures and some canvases all from 2014. The sericollages, numbered and in limited edition, are made on a transparent polyvinyl or handmade paper supports and depict subjects dear to the artist such as pin ups, Vespa motorbikes, cars and the themes of dance and music. For the occasion there is on display “Shadow”, the mountable bookcase in bamboo, made with Marco Lodola’s artistic supervision and selected by the MoMA design store for its 2011 collection.
