Save me. Mostra di Chiara Dynys

Save Me is the title of the new exhibition of the Milanese artist Chiara Dynys to be held at the Italian Centre for Contemporary Art in Foligno from September 19th 2010, which will be curated by Italo Tomassoni.
The museum, which was founded in the heart of the Umbrian city less than a year ago thanks to the will of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Foligno – i.e. the Foundation of the local Savings Bank, of the Municipality of Foligno and of the Savings Bank of Foligno, work with great commitment in the field of contemporary art and contributes, through its activity, to the revival of Foligno as an active culture centre.
The exhibition event focuses on a subject which today has become even more topical and complex: the depletion of the environment and Man’s need to recover it through a big change, including on an individual basis, with a view to save the planet Earth, which is being increasingly threatened. One of the ways to undertake is no doubt that of global savings in the use of environmental resources, whose exploitation involves damages to both man and nature.
