Sandro Martini: segno e colore oltre il telaio

The solo exhibition, curated by Luigi Sansone, presents a large retrospective on the artist Sandro Martini, a figure of great importance in the panorama of Italian abstract painting. On display there is a selection of his key works, very varied in technique and period – watercolours, sculptures, collages – belonging to different phases of his long career.
As can be seen from the exhibition, Martini explores the boundaries between color and space, pushing painting beyond the conventional limits of the canvas, in a continuous search for harmony between work and environment
