Salvatore Cuschera a tutto tondo

The Paula Seegy Gallery hosts the solo exhibition of the internationally renowned sculptor Salvatore Cuschera, who recently returned to Italy after a long stay in the United Kingdom.
The exhibition, entitled Salvatore Cuschera in the round curated by Luigi Sansone, presents a selection of 40 works, mainly unpublished, which illustrate themes highlights of the artist’s poetics. Cuschera investigates nature and its elements in depth, works with matter, often focusing on the exaltation of opposites. The use of iron, a material that Cuschera prefers, produces sculptures that are characterized by the purity of the lines, plays of balance, harmonious rhythms and the presence of geometric shapes, peculiarities that also return in the works made of sheet metal, wood, ceramic, fabric and paper.
