Presentation of the book “Franca Ghitti”

The book curated by Elena Pontiggia presents with over a hundred color and black and white images a global reading of Franca Ghitti’s work from the fifties until her death. The monograph, in Italian and English, is enriched by an introductory essay by the curator that traces the key stages of the path of the sculptress who exhibited in prestigious venues in Italy, Europe and the United States.

The architect Giovanni Cadeo, author of the restoration project of the building that will be home to the Archive-Museum of the artist, will also participate with a projection of images. The event in Triennale is accompanied by the showing of the trailer of the documentary “Franca Ghitti. Il film” directed by Davide Bassanesi.
