Paesaggi lombardi luoghi dello spirito

The solo exhibition, presented by Philippe Daverio and curated by Daniele Lotti and Lauretta Scicchitano, shows more than 70 works – paintings, watercolours, charcoal pencil works and engravings – which illustrate the artistic career of Betto Lotti (1894-1977). The works on display highlight the fact that in the artist’s painting the themes of landscapes and open spaces have always been favoured and he has always poetically described the places that are dearest to him, the Lombardy landscapes.
The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue in Italian and English with a critical text by Philippe Daverio, published by Studio Bolzani.
