Oltreparola. Alfredo Rapetti Mogol

VS Arte gallery moves into the heart of the historical neighbourhood of Brera in Via Ciovasso, 11 in Milan, where it launches its new space with the solo exhibition of Alfredo Rapetti Mogol curated by Gianluca Ranzi.
The exhibition presents a selection of works among which there are some never seen before, where graphemes, signs and disarranged words surface from the pictorial matter and other various supports, such as cement, lead, old handwritten sheets, acrylics or notebook pages yellowed by time.
Alfredo Rapetti Mogol uses a strict, sometimes bare, language that captures in itself the inexhaustible richness of alphabetical variety, of its references and connections.
The exhibition opens during the Milan Fashion Week and in addition offers the opportunity of seeing the exclusive dress designed by the stylist Gianni Tolentino, achieved by reproducing on the fabric a work made ad hoc by Alfredo Rapetti Mogol.
