In the name of the mother. Adele Ceraudo

Curated by Daniela Wollmann

  • PAN – Palazzo delle Arti Napoli - Napoli (Italy)
  • 24 February 2018 - 19 March 2018

Adele Ceraudo’s solo exhibition at Pan | Palazzo delle Arti of Naples retraces with more than 50 works the significant moments of the 10-year long career of the artist who expresses herself through different art languages. The main theme of the exhibition, curated by Daniela Wollmann, is femininity, which has always been at the centre of Adele Ceraudo’s artistic research. Her art is a social message, the artist places at the centre of her work the woman and describes all her characteristics, from the components linked to joy, positivity and seduction to the most tragic parts linked to violence and pain.
On display there are drawings, mixed media works, medium and big sized photographs accompanied by videos and installations. On the occasion of the grand opening and during the entire period of the exhibition, every day Adele Ceraudo will perform in a theatrical-scenic piece called “Da Madonna a donna/From Madonna to woman”.
A catalogue accompanies the exhibition, with texts by the curator Daniela Wollmann, Gianpasquale Greco and Luigi Polillo.
