Maria Cristina Carlini takes part in Superstudio Design, the new format presented on the occasion of the 26th edition of Milan Design Week, from April 20 to 26, 2026, confirming the artist as a leading voice in the contemporary cultural landscape.

Carlini is featured within the SuperCity context, in the spaces of Superstudio Maxi in the emerging Barona district, participating in the Art Boulevard project curated by Giulio Cappellini. Her sculptures engage in dialogue with Flavio Lucchini’s tall corten steel works and with installations by Piero Lissoni for Living Divani.

For the occasion, three monumental works have been selected, embodying Carlini’s poetics which, as highlighted by art critic Marco Eugenio Di Giandomenico, Artistic and Scientific Director of the Maria Cristina Carlini Foundation ETS, express the artist’s sensitivity to the transformation of matter, the relationship between humankind and nature, and a striving toward the transcendent.
