La voce dell’Adda. Leonardo e la civiltà dell’acqua

Following its great success in Milan and Cremona, the exhibition LA VOCE DELL’ADDA. Leonardo e la civiltà dell’acqua. Milano, Cremona, Sondrio, curated by Alberto Martinelli and Fabrizio Trisoglio, reaches the final stage of its journey at the MVSA – Museo Valtellinese di Storia e Arte in Sondrio, from 19 September to 18 October.
The exhibition reconstructs the course of the river Adda in a richly cultural and informative presentation that offers a detailed, wide-ranging description the history, nature and communities in proximity to the great river. The Adda has always been a linking element in the geography, productivity and social context of profoundly different territories. In fact, from its source in the Rhaetian Alps it weaves a course through several Lombardy provinces before arriving at its mouth in the river Po.
Spectacular views of natural environments are interwoven with the signs of centuries of human labour, including countless wonders of technology in the fields of transport, hydraulics and electricity.
