Curated by Lorenzo Canova

The splendid landscape of the Reggia di Caserta hosts the large solo exhibition by the Spanish artist José Molina with 30 works – paintings, drawings and sculptures – that describe in detail the ways of expression and themes which are dear to the artist.
The exhibition – organized by Deodato Arte of Milan, coordinated by Augusto Ozzella, and shared and hosted by the Reggia di Caserta – presents a group of never seen before works, the series Paesaggio dopo la battaglia that gives the title to the exhibition itself, accompanied by the historical collections Predatores, Los Olvidados and Peccati e Virtù; the original sculptures from the series Morsi and I feel are also on display.
José Molina, who is always focused on the psychological and anthropologic investigation, explores the human soul and his works – inhabited by mythical characters, demons, heroes – reveal the unconscious, the instincts and the feelings through a very personal symbolic code that connects past and present.
