Agnellini Arte Moderna Gallery is pleased to present a new and important exhibition centered around the eclectic figure of Jim Dine, one of the main protagonists of the American art movement of the 1960’s.
The exhibition, curated by Dominique Stella, aims to investigate the main themes faced by Dine that made him a pioneer first, of theHappenings, afterwards one of the main exponent of Pop Art, then of the American Realism till the definitive landing, during the 80’s, to the Expressionism.
The show is composed of 25 works, including both oil and acrylic paintings, bronze and wooden sculptures, and a variety of techniques that accurately reflects the different approaches employed by this artist to analyse the essential and intimate messages of life.
