Maria Cristina Carlini’s art in support of and at the service of eco-sustainability. This is the meaning of the participation of the Milan-born sculptress in Merci Beaucoup! new values – new objects, an event part of the circuit Fuori Salone 2011 for Milan Design Week to be held from April 12th to 17th 2011 in Via Tortona 54, Spazio A (ex-fabbrica Ansaldo) Face to Superstudio Più as collateral event of the project “Innovation / Imagination”.
The event, curated by Fortunato D’Amico, involves architects, artists, designers and companies in the sign of multidisciplinary nature, and presents a critical overview of goods consumption and their production systems and social advancement.
An analysis of the human habitat starting from contemporaneity to tell – through a variety of media, such as multimedia, photographs, artworks, graphics, videos and objects – the evolution of consumer goods going back in time.
