Fondazione Maria Cristina Carlini
The Fondazione Maria Cristina Carlini opens with the Scientific Direction of Art Historian Flaminio Gualdoni, a leading expert in contemporary sculpture.
Located in Milan at Via Savona 97, adjacent to the artist’s studio, the Foundation is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the extensive artistic legacy of sculptor Maria Cristina Carlini. It also aims to serve as a hub for dialogue and collaboration with both public and private institutions, in Italy and abroad.
The space hosts and archives the artist’s works, which are imbued with themes related to environmental preservation, the sense of belonging, and both individual and collective memory, connecting past, present, and future.
The Foundation is envisioned as a point of reference for art enthusiasts and scholars, with a program that includes events, conferences, and temporary exhibitions, all initiatives designed to foster dialogue around contemporary art.
