Esodo Pratelli. Dal Futurismo al “Novecento” e oltre

Esodo Pratelli’s art spans the 20th century and passes through various movements, providing an important vision of the modern era: from the dynamic tension of futurism, with its vertical lines and vibrant colours, to the solid and volumetric classicism of the Italian 20th century, up to a magical realism with more intimate and luminous tones.
The exhibition offers visitors an overview of the evolution of his pictorial language, which in continuous experimentation has always kept some characteristics constant: attention to the structure of the image, the presence of natural elements in different contexts and the delicacy of the gaze.
Between visionary scenography, futuristic landscapes, scenes of daily affection, suspended atmospheres, Esodo Pratelli’s solo show at the CMC manages to restore all the beauty and complexity of the artistic expression of one of the important artists of the twentieth century.
