The exhibition brings together a selection of small-format works, including several previously unseen pieces, united by a research approach that intertwines material, color, light, and dynamic tension within an intimate and sensitive atmosphere.
Through different materials such as wood, copper, iron, steel, and glass, the exhibition path creates a dialogue between practices and languages capable of highlighting the expressive qualities of matter and its continuous transformation. The works of Gabriella Benedini preserve the organic memory of wood, while Pietro Coletta explores the chromatic and luminous variations of copper. In the work of Salvatore Cuschera, iron becomes structure and tension; Riccardo De Marchi investigates the geometric and reflective balance of steel. With Izumi Ōki, glass instead introduces a rarefied and contemplative dimension made of suspended transparencies and reflections.
The exhibition thus offers a multifaceted panorama of contemporary sculptural research, where each work emerges from a process of listening to matter in connection with light, space, and time.
